Piano Studio
Enrollment

A lifelong road of joy and discovery awaits the individual who chooses to take piano lessons. With patient, and diligent practice, anyone can learn to play.
Enrollment is open all year long, to all ages and skill levels.
New students commit to a 3 month trial period at the end of which is a parent/teacher meeting. At that point, a determination will be made as to whether or not the student continues. If both the student and teacher wish to continue with lessons, the student is required to commit to the remainder of the studio calendar year, and the teacher reserves an exclusive time slot in the schedule for the student.
Returning students are required to commit to one year of instruction.

Make up lessons
The tuition you pay reserves an exclusive weekly time slot in the teacher's schedule. Studio space is limited and often at maximum capacity. If the teacher's schedule permits, she is more than happy to reschedule, however, because specific times are set aside for specific students, make up lessons cannot be guaranteed. Listed below are some great alternatives if you simply cannot make your lesson.
-
Skype or the telephone are both very useful tools for the student who cannot make their lesson due to mild illness, inclement weather, etc.
-
Lesson Swaps are available to the families who choose to be on the swap list.
-
Sibling Bonus Time is used by many families who have multiple children enrolled in lessons. If one child cannot make their lesson, we may extend the lesson time of the other student to include both lessons.
-
Group Lessons are offered Nov., Feb., and May, specifically for those who missed any lessons during the preceding months.
-
Performance Classes are scheduled a couple of weeks before each recital. These may be viewed as a form of make up lesson.
