Piano Studio
The reasons for learning to play the piano are as unique and varied as the students themselves. Whether the student is interested in classical or pop music, composition or improvistation; my goals are the same. To nurture the artistic spirit and inspire a lifelong love of music, and to help each student achieve their highest musical potential while discovering their own voice.

At the beginning of each year, the student and teacher assess their goals as well as any skills needing improvement. I believe that students learn best when they play the music they love. So repertoire is chosen and goals are set with three things in mind: what the student wants to learn, what the teacher requires to be learned, and what the parents want to hear.

Composition and Improvisation all too often go to the wayside, and sometimes isn't even taught at all! These two very important and rewarding skills are taught and encouraged to all of my students.
Recitals are a fun and important part of piano lessons. There are several events each year that give every student a chance to show off their hard work and shine.

Winter Recital
The Winter Recital is a wonderful opportunity for showmanship. Each March, students of all ages dress up and perform for their family and friends the pieces they have been diligently perfecting. This is truly a celebration of accomplishment.

Back To School Summer Showcase COMING 2017!
The Back To School Summer Showcase in August is all about camaraderie and fun. Themed music, duets, trios, and ensembles are just a few of the exciting things students spend the summer working on together at their group lessons.

Christmas Piano Party
Music, cookies, games, and prizes are the four pillars of a good party! Christmas carols, music themed games, and friendly competition make this a must attend season event.

Recitals
WunderKeys Piano for Preschoolers is a fabulous preschool program created by Teach Music Today that I am excited to offer.
Unlike most preschool music programs, WunderKeys is a one-on-one experience. Your preschooler will love the the WunderKeys friends such as Pointer Panda and Middleton Mouse. Songs, games, and mathmatical concepts are all taught with their preschool perspective in mind.
This program is truly a joy to use, competely filling the need for private lessons for preschoolers.
